Pop! Promos Promotional Mailers
At the time of this project, Pop! Promos was a young company in the printed promotional products space with new ideas and products. The challenge I faced as a designer was that in that space, nothing new was being done design-wise, and clients expected to be reached in traditional ways. So how do I communicate this young company’s vision while still keeping in mind the traditional design space in which I was working? My solution was to keep the traditional mailer outreach approach, while focusing on bright, modern marketing ideas with the content.
My goal with these mailers was to not only showcase the company’s fresh take on the promotional products space, but to generate interest in new, exciting products and company ideas by re-imagining what was already being done. I kept the mailers bright, eye-catching, and relatively simple, and injected a young and snappy tone into the copy. I worked collaboratively with the team to ideate eye-catching imagery and phrases, and had the responsibility of photographing and designing all products shown on the cards, as well as designing the layout of the cards.
