Benchtop Bioreactors Logo Design

Benchtop Bioreactors is a young company building a hardware and software system to streamline fluids-based experiments in the cell and tissue engineering space. My goal as a designer approaching their logo was to showcase a young and exciting new technology, while also imparting a sense of reliability and expertise.

The inspiration for the logo was drawn from the technology itself. The benchtop bioreactor is a modular hardware and software system, so I sought to make the icon a three-part modular system. I chose a font that also followed the inspiration of modularity, and I drew color inspiration from the blue of blood in the veins and the red of living tissue.

From that point I tried to inject a young and professional look, feel, and voice into the designs I created.
